Brooklyn Backpack- Waxed Canvas

So far, so good. Well built with minimal plastic materials. Size is just about perfect, and I've had someone stop me to ask about it on the street, saying he has been looking for a nice compact, streamlined product and liked the look. Bag seems durable, with good stitching and quality zippers. I like the rubber bottom. Straps sized appropriately with the right amount of adjustability (6'-1", 190 lbs) Where it lacks is in pocket organization. I often swing a backpack around on my right shoulder to access something without taking it off. If the front side zip pocket was on the opposite side, it would function much better for this. Maybe others use the opposite arm...The lack of interior zippered compartment is a drawback, as is the lack of a key ring keeper clip. With these small tweaks, it would be near perfect. As is, it's the best i've found thus far, and I'd buy again. Waxed canvas doesn't have an overly strong wax smell, something I was curious about, and glad to not have it as I'll use this indoors as well.

Look to the Brooklyn for a compact, durable and stylish backpack. The waxed canvas is incredibly tough and looks better with each bump and scratch, which never puncture, but simply ad etch-like contours that can be rubbed out. The inner-tube material on the bottom protects the pack from water and grime you may set the pack into. Look elsewhere, however if you are looking for greater than a "daily commute" pack. However, when extremely pushed , the bag will fit more than you expect and the seems and zippers take abuse like champions.
